I have never been in therapy before, is this a good idea?
Therapy is a safe space for you to work through what is holding you back and what you need to do to get to a better place in your life. Whether you want to feel better about yourself, or need help creating healthy relationships, or want to learn how to manage your anxiety or feel less alone, therapy may be a good choice for you.
I feel so stretched trying to balance family and work, I have no time for therapy!
Taking the time for therapy now can help you make changes that will improve your life in immeasurable and long lasting ways. You may feel better, happier and more fulfilled in ways that will continue for years to come. Getting the skills to get more out of your life will benefit you in the here-and-now as well as in the future.
Can you help me save my marriage?
If you are seeking therapy as a couple, you should seek a couples therapist. If you want to work on you, what parts of you are interfering with your having a successful relationship, I can work with you in therapy to either help you to save your marriage, or to help you recover after a divorce. We can work on balancing your work and family life. In therapy, you may be able to learn how to create better relationships in your life with spouses, partners, family and close friends.
What are your fees? Do you accept insurance?
My standard fee is $200 per session. If you have insurance with out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with documentation so that you can be reimbursed from your insurance company.
Will you adapt therapy to my needs?
In therapy, I will listen to you and provide you with the encouragement and support you need. Therapy will concentrate on helping you move forward towards the goals you set for yourself.
